This is a great introduction to Bruegel. The text is normal size, the paper is good quality, and the writing style is inviting and informative. The pictures are what you would expect from a book this size. Some B&W and some color. But the main point of the book is realized- the pictures are well represented and correspond nicely with the text. The text itself follows the life of its subject while expressing the nature of the late medieval environment. I highly recommend this book!
